Dr Omar Mamad has received a new award with grant funding from FutureNeuro, the Research Ireland Centre for Translational Brain Science, to support the lab's work on CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder.
The award adds to the lab's Research Ireland Pathway fellowship and the Sleep-CDD programme, and strengthens the team's ability to move discoveries in CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder towards biomarkers and treatments.
FutureNeuro brings together clinicians, scientists, patients and industry partners across Ireland to change the patient journey for people living with neurological, neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric conditions. The Mamad Lab is based at RCSI within the centre.
